~ Happy Valentines Day & A Historical Home Tour~

Mister brought me a beautiful single rose yesterday…

Then, we spent all day Sunday together, went to brunch….visited my in-laws….and toured a beautiful historic home built in 1900.

The home was beautifully decorated. We were also told most of the light fixtures were original.

Some of the pictures are a little dark…..but the charm is still there.

We really enjoyed this house tour….

~ I'm back & Valentine's Day~

Hi y'all! I'm back! I hope you didn't forget about me. :)

We had a really nice Valentine's day~

I hope you had a nice day, too.

I found a few sweet things to decorate with~ and enjoyed Mister's breakfast tacos Sunday morning. :)

I also received a nice gift from these two~

They cleaned my oven....lol!

These 2 pictures should have been reversed....sorry. :) The genius read to bear while waiting on the oven cleaner to set and they guarded the kitchen from the fur-babies.

I have missed y'all a lot and promise to get back to full time blogging soon. :)

Saturday night we enjoyed a huge family dinner.....these are pics from that night.

I am doing much better and even have a HUGE smile on my face....how could I not. I get to wake up next to this guy everyday!

~ Just Stuff ~

Hi friends~

I couldn't think of a title, today. So 'just stuff' was it. :)

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and Valentine's Day! I cooked chicken fried steak ( no knife was necessary :), mashed potatos & green beans~ Mister brought these chocolate covered strawberries home.....I ate 5 of them.

I couldn't help myself...lol.

Daughter ( the genius ) brought me this rose~ I had to tease her though because I sent her to Walgreens to pick up pictures ( she got in my wallet, so she could PAY for the pictures, you know :) Then she came home with this rose. I was like Oh, thanks~ I bought myself a rose....lol. She knows I love it~ I don't own a 'bud vase' all my vases are large so I used a bottle, I thought it was kind of cute.

Thank you baby girl~ I love you!

We worked hard trying to get the guest room ( Mammaw's room ) finished before the weekend was over. We had many projects to work on... Here is another peek~

I spray painted the curtain rods~ black

bought a little lamp

Added some embelishment. It has some imperfections~ but it's okay :)

We got to a do a little shopping, too. That's the best part!
