~ A Note from Molly ~

Hi,

I'm Molly and I'm 9 years old. Some of you may know me and if not you can read a little about me here and what I have to deal { the cats....} with here. I have to go to the vet today....my third visit in a week. Today I'm getting an ultrasound. I have a benign tumor either in my brain or in my tummy. :( I have something called cushions disease....I was told it happens sometimes in older pets. I have a big pot belly and I'm hungry & thirsty all the time because the tumor is causing too much cortisone in my body. Today we will find out if I have to have surgery or if I just have to take medication for the rest of my life.

Mommy, Daddy & Sissy.....and maybe the cats....Simon, Sammy & Gracie Jane have all said prayers for me and assured me that I will be fine and they will do whatever it takes so I can continue to live a good healthy life after this. But I'm still scared. Would you say a little prayer for me, please.

Love, Molly Bell

~ Just a little note~

Hi friends~

I just wanted ya'll to know I had my third ( & hopefully last ) procedure yesterday. As of yesterday morning I could turn my head all the way to the left and I had only 27% range of motion to the right....that side still has that burning feeling most of the time. But nowhere near the original pain I was in...so I'm making progress. Of course this morning I can't turn it at all....but that's because of the injections and I'm very sore. But it normally just last a few days. I still can't look at my toes but I'm doing better at looking up. :) I thought I'd spare ya'll pictures of the trip to and from procedure this time....so I found this view of our backyard from August.
This is a lot more inspiring don't you think?

I wanted to ask if you could add Lynne @ Gifts from the Heart ( if you haven't already done so ) to your prayer list...her Mr. P. is in the hospital.

Thanks ya'll for your support.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Your friend~ Jessica

~Veterans Day~

Today is a day to honor our heroes. May we never forget what is going on in the world and never take our freedom for granted. Please keep our Military and their family in your prayers today and everyday.

Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the selfless acts
they perform for us in our time of need.

Amen

We will never forget....

A little retail therapy and a "you might need some tissue" gift :)

Hi friends~

Well as some of you may know....I just turned 35. I know, I know I can't believe it either....lol. So far this hasn't been the greatest month of my life so my dear husband decided we needed to turn my frown upside down. SHOPPING! Poor husband....had to go the mall. After awhile ( like an hour ) I didn't buy anything....hmmmm...only spent $24. Then he starts telling me, " Oh I'm bad luck, you can't ever find anything when I'm with you, maybe you should come back this weekend w/Kristin. " ( our daughter ) Oh no, no, no...not so fast buck-o.....I know what you're up to....lol. I said no babe, you're not bad luck....we just need some nurishment. A pretzel dog, lemonade and a cinna-bon. YEP, that'll do it. So, after our 'healthy' lunch.....I found EVERTHING!!! Pants, jeans, shirts, shoes, a jacket, scarf, a bracelet....did I mention shoes? WHOA-JESSICA.....SLOOOOOOW DOWN! I was a maniac.....lol. We went to Hallmark, too. That's where he found the 'WHOOMP" button....but he also found the sweetest poem and windchime. Most of you also know that I just lost my Poppaw~ the greatest man I have ever known...
WHISPERS FROM HEAVEN

When I left this world without you
I know it made you blue
Your tears fell so freely,
I watched; I know this is true
While you were weeping,
Days after I passed away~
While all was silent within me,
I saw you kneel to pray.
From this wonderful place called heaven
Where all my pain is gone
I send a gentle breeze to whisper,
" My loved ones, please go on "
The peace that I have found here
Goes far beyond compare
No rain, no clouds, no suffering~
Just LOVE from everywhere
You need not be troubled
Just stay close to GOD in prayer
Someday we'll be reunited
My love, HIS love surrounds you always,
EVERYWHERE

Oh, I just cried a river....The poem came in a box with a windchime. I thought the poem deserved to be framed. I added scrap book paper to the back and framed it. I went back yesterday and purchased one for my Mammaw, too.

A little something I wanted to share

I wanted to thank you all for your kind words and prayers. It means more to me than you will ever know. This is truly the hardest thing I have EVER done in my life.

This is my Mom & Pop @ their 50th wedding anniversary held at our house.

They walked down the isle to " It had to be you. "

He told my husband, no refunds or exchanges.

I just wanted to share this with you, as I'm trying to heal my heart and make arrangements.

Thank you again for your love and support.

will see you soon...

Hi friends~

I just came home to gather a few necessities and I wanted you to know that I will be gone for a few days; possibly more. My grandfather ( my daddy ) became very ill Friday evening and is in ICU at the hospital. I have taken time off from work so I can devote my days and nights to my family. I want to spend every moment I can with my Poppaw.

Note: My Poppaw passed away at 1:50am 10/14/08. Thank you all for your kind words & prayers it means more to me than you will ever know.

Firefighters Prayer

When I am called to duty, God
Wherever flames may rage
Give me strength to save a life
Whatever be its age.
Let me embrace a little child
Before it is too late
Or save an older person from
The horror of that fate.
Enable me to be alert
And hear the weakest shout,
And quickly and efficiently
To put the fire out.
I want to fill my calling
To give the best in me,
To guard my friend and neighbor
And protect their property.
And, if, according to your will,
I have to lose my life,
Please bless, with your protecting hand,
My family and my wife.

IN REMEMBRANCE

WE WILL NEVER FORGET

May God bless you & your family today and every day.

A Convoy & A Prayer

Hi friends~

This morning we decided to go to brunch downtown. While we were driving down the freeway we saw a convoy of Military vehicles. Our local military personnel has been sent to Louisiana due to Hurricane Gustav. We were able to snap a few pictures.

Can you believe while most people are running from this storm our military are driving straight towards the storm?

We are the HOME of the BRAVE.

Lord, please bless the families who fall victim to Hurricane Gustav and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS.

Please say a prayer for our neighbors along the coast.

Hugs, J.

P.S. I'll share more of our trip downtown tomorrow....I just feel it's not as important as this message is tonight. Blessings to all of you. :)
