~ A Little bit of Snow~

Hi friends~

We had snow! Honestly, I was like a kid in a candy store....I love snow....of course I've only seen it maybe 5 times in my life....but this is the 2nd year in a row it has snowed here. You can read about our snow adventure from last year.... here. :-)

I really didn't take too many pictures....I was @ work and the snow didn't stay on the ground that long. But, we enjoyed it anyway.

I normally do not wear funny hat's and zip up sweathshirts to work...I took my 'snow' clothes....just in case ....lol. The genius got out of school early, too. :-)

Before & after the snow....it rained & rained....overnight the temperature dropped to 29~ this is almost unheard of in my neck of the woods.....at least this early in the season.

We covered as much of our garden & plants as possible but a few sets of old sheets really aren't enough. I snapped a few pictures Saturday morning~

rubber plant~

My knockout roses :(

bye bye~ morning glories...

The snow was beautiful and fun~ except by mid afternoon on Saturday all evidence of our snow and ice were long gone.... I can live without the ice. Now everything in the garden is black~ But....the snow....was just beautiful.

Maybe....just maybe....it might have been worth it. :)

~ The Real Fluffy Stuff ~

IT'S SNOWING!

For those of you have snow on a regular basis.
Please bear with me.
This is only the 3rd time in my life, it has snowed here.
~ THIS IS A REAL MIRACLE ~

Look at these BIG O TEXAS sized snow flakes...lol.

Isn't it something?

Whatcha' gonna do with that?

Well, after I ran AWAY from her....I found Gracie investigating....

She has never seen snow

Molly wanted to check it out, too.

Then, Mister & my genius built a little a snow man

The eyes are Riley's bird treats and the nose is pickled okra....

Hey, we had to find something, right?

Me & My Mister

The two greatest joys in my life

It's really starting to snow now

Look at this, I just can't believe it!!

I love the snow topped fence ( my poor roses )

The roses in the front yard~

Even our mailbox is wearing her winter best~

I don't think our yard has ever looked prettier.

Our backyard looks like a winter wonderland....

Can you see the snow covered bicycle?

Everything looks so pretty

It's magical....

I took well over 150 SNOW pictures. I just couldn't help it. :) Thank you all for coming by to see me. You ladies are wonderful and I feel truly blessed to have you in my life.

I hope you have a beautiful day!

Hugs~ J
