Pink Saturday

Hi friends,

Welcome, this is my first Pink Saturday post! Yeah! Beverly over at How Sweet The Sound is hosting this event and has taken blogland by storm. :) Please visit her at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/. I just had to join in the fun!

I couldn't wait to share 2 of my favorite "pink" items. This first teapot belonged to my great-grandmother. I have always loved it.

I love the gold trim....

This one belonged to my grandmother~'Mammaw'.

When I was little I would have 'tea parties'. I always wanted to play with this one and Mammaw always told me 'absolutely not'.... I never understood why. :)

Isn't the lid pretty?

Did you know that I didn't even realize my make-up bag was pink until today? :)

Isn't that funny?

Thank you for visiting me today~ I appreciate it! Please be sure and check out all the Pink Saturday post~ just go to Bev's blog for the list. Now, I am going to have to figure out how to set my post in advance. That way I can sleep & post at the same time....lol.

Have a great weekend!!
NOTE: Thank you Smilingsal for the posting tip~ I need all the help I can get. :)

Hugs~ J. :)

Hey Jessica! I just love your teapots...what treasures and that they belonged to your grandma's...even more special. Thanks for coming over...hey about scheduling a post just google "schedule post on blog" and you will get full instructions, it's simple. If I can do it...you can do it! Everything you need is a the bottom of a new post page left hand corner for starters. Schedule the time, I usually do mine for about 2 am, so it posts for early birds or night owls, then press publish and then it schedules it on your chosen date and time. Hope this helps.

Your teapots are beautiful. They must be such treasures for you.

I know what you mean about the pink. I didn't realize some of the things I have that are pink until I started paying attention.
