Hi friends~

Well, I've been sitting here staring at my computer and drinking my morning cup of coffee...I have severe bloggers block.

I was worried this would happen when I started my blog. :) So, this is what I came up with today.

My daughter has seriously always loved commercials. Here are a few funny examples.

When she was about 7 years old, we were having a little trouble with our dishwasher. One day, while we were at the grocery store my daughter said, " Mom, we need to buy the stuff that makes your dishwasher happy." I looked her and said, " What are you talking about?" The lady in front of me ( who was laughing ) said " I think she means Jet Dry." My daughter said " Jet Dry, it makes your dishwasher smile, ours is so grumpy." :)

Recently when I was creating my playlist I started browsing music from the 80's. I played Devo " Whip It." My daughter comes bouncing in the room and said " That's the swiffer song! Swiffer good!". :)

She also dances while she vacuums like the Merry Maids commercial. We even have an ORECK vacuum like they use.

Here's one for the road....literally. One day we were driving somewhere and Cheap Trick " I want you to want me " came on the radio. Turn up your volume, it's #1 on my playlist today. :) This is a fun song to sing, dance, clean house etc. Well, the song goes " Didn't I, didn't I, didn't I see you crying" and then I heard my daughter sing " doodle la, doodle la, doodle la see you crying....lol. It was priceless. :)
Well, that's all I have for today.
Hugs~ J.

Hey Jessica! LOL, Your daughter is so cute and funny. My son comes up with the cutest things too. He makes me laugh all the time with his logic. Children are really funny! Commercials do have a great impact on us too....more than we even realize I'm sure. Our favorite one right now is the swiffer one with the candy gram. Robert loves it! Hope you have a great day!

P.S. girl, I know how you feel about sometimes having bloggers block....this week I had to resort to magazines honey! LOL!

There used to be a song for Mr. Potatoe Head. Brianna was four when Travis was born and she used to change the words and sing "Travie Magravie you're a bucket of fun, buckets of fun for everyone!" We used to have people smile at us all the time when she'd start singing it in public. She loved to sing it when he got fussy! My blogging buddy Schmecky thinks the free credit report guy is sexy and I think of her everytime I see him on commercials singing his song! Your daughter is a hoot and I love how she talked about your dishwasher being grumpy!

Jessica, I thought this was the cutest posting!! Now, we know why they pay so much for commericals. They do really subconsicously get in your head. Kids say the darnest things!!!

Hi Jessica!! Thanks for the giggles today. Your daughter sounds adorable!! Mine's funny was "Wind Beneath my KNEES"!!!

You ought to have this song played at some point during her wedding reception ~ years down the road from now!! :)
