A new treasure and some fall decorating

Hi friends~

My neighbor had a yard sale Saturday morning and I went down to browse around. This is not normally my style but I loved it immediately. Guess how much? $5.00.

Well, we finally got a cold front yesterday. :) I have been inspired by many bloggers for their knack for fall decorating and it just hasn't hit me yet. Well, can you blame me? It's been 88 degrees and humid....definately not fall weather...lol. Now a cold front here means about 67 at night and 85 during the day ( but the humidity is gone. ) Well, I went out to my front yard, where our huge pine trees are....

and gathered a basket full of pine cones....does this count as fall decorating?

While I was out there Molly was staring out the front door....she sends you some sugars. :)

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Hugs~ J.

Love that mirror Jessica! I'm like you ...too much heat and humidity for decorating for fall...I'll let mama nature do the work I guess....too lazy! Now if I could get her to wash my windows ;)

Hey Jessica!
I just love that mirror! Great find! It's gorgeous....looks vintage. Can't wait to see what you put with it. Your weather sounds about like ours girl...still humid and pretty warm. We had a cool front the other week, but it didn't last. I am definately hoping for another one. I decorated for fall back in Sept. and girl, I am already tired of looking at it! LOL! Anyway...I love pinecones and I love how you put your's in the pretty basket....yes, I'd say, that pinecones are fall. Hope you have a great day! I just love your life is a highway song that just came on! Talk to ya later!
xoxo,
Queenie

Yup, it counts for decorating! I just barely got mine done today. I just get too busy this time and year and too tired to decorate so it takes forever. Love the mirror. Can hardly wait to see where you put it. Cindy
