~A little more Christmas~

I wanted to share a little more Christmas with you.

I brought the burgundy pillows from the guest room into the living room. I think it gives a little pop of much needed color~ at least through Christmas. :)

We purchased a real wreath to hang on the mirror

We used real garland on top of the entertainment center....

it smells so good when you walk in.

another view

I'm loving the real garland this year~

Riley says hello :)

We put a little tree in the guest room....we know Simon likes it.

the view from outside

See the chocolate mouse on the left; it actually smells like CHOCOLATE!

I purchased it at Garden Ridge a few years ago with a hot chocolate mug.

This pillow belonged to my grandmother~

Our little village....have ya'll seen Christie's?

She has a whole CITY! It's amazing! :)

Fresh garland in the entryway~

a little hope~

our nativity scene

& our big teddy bear

This is Gracie's first Christmas~ she is IN the tree

The morning after our MAGICAL SNOWFALL~

I hope you enjoyed our little bit of Christmas. Have a beautiful day!

Thanks for the tour, before you even mentioned it, I was thinking how awesome that garland must smell! And the moose caused me to have a chocolate attack, good thing my son's M & M dispenser was close by!
Have a great day!

You look like you're good to go!! I love all of it. The chocolate moose is too cute to, and to think he smells like chocolate, yum!! LOL! Has your snow melted off or is it still there? Our is gone except a bit lingered in the shady areas on the north but it's just a skiff.

Thanks for your kind words on my stitching, you made my day. I've decided after the morning I've had that you can take all our snow. We got some strong winds early, early this morning and my kids woke up when something hit the side of the house. The winds are still too fierce to check was it was but through the windows I don't see any damage. We're in white-out conditions and I worried while my son had to drive to work. He called me and said there were four accidents with police and ambulances within the three miles he had to drive to work and that there was black ice all over the road. My husband is in a truck driving all day for his sales job and so I won't rest easy until everyone is home and in one piece!! Oh the joys of winter! Top that off with my laundry room is supposed to be sheetrocked this afternoon. Hope the storm doesn't delay this from happening bz I really want this room done so we have a place to hang our coats again!! Have a great sunny day in Texas while I hunker down on a snowy miserable day!

YAY, I got sheetrocked on Saturday. Now I just need them to finish with all the mudding and texturing and then I can paint and get my tile in! I've been saving to upgrade to tile so at least the delays have been good for that. I enjoyed your comment but then you had to tell me it was 75 degrees!! I was so jealous. Last night when I was coming home it was 23 degrees outside! Oh well, today I'm cozy and warm inside and only have to leave to go to church so it's all good! Have a great day. Cindy

Oh Girl!
Everything looks beautiful and I bet that greenery smells so good! All of your sentimetal treasures make everything so pretty and special. Your city is precious too! Loved the pics of Gracie in the tree...too cute for words. Your home is so warm and welcoming....how neat that you thought of capturing the tree from the outside of the window....I have got to do that! LOL!

I wanted to thank you for sharing thoughts about your sweet grandma...I know that you understand exactly what it feels like to love someone with Alzheimer's. What you said meant so much to me. I appreciate it. God bless you sweetie...I understand the love you and your grandma shared too. Hope you have a great day!
