~From Demoted to Glory? ~

Thank you for the compliments on our hammock yesterday~ Mister insisted on getting the BIGGEST one they had a few years ago...so I always felt it was ugly but it sure is comfy. There is room for 2....or more. :)

Do you ever " demote" your plants? I do...when they start to not look so pretty they get demoted to a hiding place on the side of the house known as the 'plant cemetery'. Every now and then I'll peek around the corner and find something coming back to life....

This is what they looked like last year...

Beautiful aren't they? I'm always suprised to see what's hiding over there. Can't wait to see them in all their glory.
Hugs J

Right now most of my plants are at the plant cemetary! My yard is looking horrible. The weeds seem to have survived though. We're still very early into spring though and some of them may still come back. I love the orange iris from last year. I hope it fares well this year. I so much need you here visiting me right now......dishwasher died and I can't replace it for a few months. Doing handwash dishes for all these people is not my idea of fun but I need to get Trav out on his mission and get through this wedding before I even think of spending money on my conveniences. Sadly, this means no new sewing machine so I certainly hope this one holds out like my Viking did (30 years!). Take care and if you need to visit I'm the one to see, I seem to always have a sink load, and then some, of dishes right now, LOL! Bring the laundry and we'll make a day of it! Cindy

Morning Jessica! Oh, I'm loving that hammock! We had one when our kids were little and they played on it constantly until they broke it down! :)
Love the pretty blooms and the green of spring! That bloom is gorgeous! Is it a gladiola?
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

What a wonderful surprise to find! I admit I have a hard time giving up on my plants and will tuck them some where hoping!
My husband has long ago given up on saying, I think they are done for.
