Hi friends~
I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We received over 8 1/2 inches of rain on Saturday. I thought I would share a few pictures.
The water got high real quick....the black trash bag is my neighbors lawn clippings floating down the street~
It just rained and rained....
all over our ready to be stained fence. :)
Molly was so scared, she got in the cats house...poor baby.
Heavy rain and wind caused our hammock to crash~
A little break from the downpour and a few brave birds ventured over~
The bird house almost fell over....

Our mailbox is leaning ( we had real strong winds, too. )
We even lost power for awhile....My Mister was at work and their power was out for over 4 hours....A co-worker brought him hours later in a big truck.
Finally we were all home together safe & sound....the sun made an appearance....just as it was time for it to set for the night.

Jessica, You really did get rain. But, just think how beautiful everything is going to be once the sun comes out! We got a little rain on saturday. Only about 1 inch. We really need more. I was going to work in the yard today. But, it's way.. to windy! Do you have pee gravel in the hole your birdhouse is in? We get a lot of wind here. So, I know lots of little tricks. It makes a post much sturdier. Your yard is looking beautiful! The fence looks great. Hugs, Terrie

Hi J, I hope you are starting to dry out! We're getting the heavy rain today and again tomorrow. Its been a chilly and wet spring so far and I don't like being stuck in the house all day with Amelia, we want to go for a walk in the sunshine! Did you see Christies post?
