~ Better Days~

Hi friends~

My days are definitely getting better. I finally started feeling some relief Friday...exactly one week after my procedure. WOOHOO~ I'm not all the way there but I am definitely on my way.
I wanted to share a few things that have brought a smile to my face during this ordeal~

I received a beautiful card from Queenie....
She wrote the most beautiful note and included many bible scriptures....it touched my heart...truly it did. Thank you MY FRIEND!

You are a GEM!

Mammaw brought me this beautiful bird tray ( when I first got injured ) I think it's just what this corner of the kitchen needed. I love it!
{ still want to get those kitchen cabinets painted }

The flowers from Mister are still soooo pretty.

I enjoyed a visit from my dad ( aka 'Gampy' ) and his beloved dog 'Spike'~

He is a big ball of BABY~

Gracie was not too happy about this visit...the other 2 cats Simon & Sammy hid & Molly well sheis growled @ him alot. This is HER house, remember....lol.

Bear gave Molly a bath ( sorry my photography isn't the best lately ) & he sweet talked her the whole time. :) I literally laughed out loud. The Genius is trying to pass off some of her chores.

I saw a beautiful butterfly in the garden~

& watched a gorgeous sunrise.....

Yes~ my days are getting better.....I'm so greatful for my family, my friends & the land of blog. Ya'll have been so good to me. Thank you.

Love~ J

Jessica:

Would you let me know if you got emailed a bunch of posts about 9/11and my post about calling blogger stupid? I figured out how to remove them and not lose them after I posted that. Blogger posted prescheduled posts early. Sigh, it's going to be one of those days. Sorry if it emailed you all of them but they were prescheduled for the next 10 days. I'll just have to manually post them each day I guess.

Good Morning Jessica!
I am so glad that you are doing better my friend. That is wonderful news! Thank you for the mention about the card too. You are such a sweet person. I love that cute birdie tray Mawmaw got you too. Looks great in your kitchen. You know I'm ever wishing to paint my cabinets too...it's a love hate relationship with them things...sometimes I really like them as they are, and some days I say...I am gonna paint them whether hubby likes it or not! But then I don't! LOL! Because I think I'll miss the wood grain and warmth of them.

I really thank you for calling this post "Better Days. Your post title is so close to a song that I wrote on Sunday that's called "They'll Be Better Days Ahead" (I don't know if you remember me saying that I write songs that God puts in my heart from time to time)...well, the song that God gave me is so close to the name of your post...that I feel God used you to affirm to me that everything's gonna be alright... in your health, and also in some trials that my family is personally experiencing as well.(I won't get into any details here, but I will tell you it involves our baby, our 18 year old son). There will be better days ahead. Thank you my friend for blessing me in ways that you know not. I'll tell you about it one day, when the news can be a testimony of the greatness of God, and how he works everything out for our good. (wiping tears)
I hope that you have a great day!
Big Hugs,
Queenie

It sure is good news to hear you are feeling better but please take it easy and don't over do it okay?
Hope to find some time to visit more soon. The garden is needing a lot of attention as far as harvesting these days.

Hey gf*! Sorry you were having problems getting the awareness pics from my blog. You just need to click on the pic first and it will open in a new window, and then you can right click and "save as" Hope you're having a great day*! _Ashley*

Good morning to you too! I wonder bz they're reposts if that's why it isn't emailing you. Are you getting emails on the others? I don't know why blogger doesn't email sometimes. I have people once in awhile tell me things like this but then for some reason later it starts to work. I've been printing a ton of my posts (anything also that shows where I live) and am thinking about going public again. Being private is such a pain and I really miss meeting new people and being easily accessible. Last payday I killed the budget in printer ink!

Sorry that you had a rough week. Can they accommodate you with a better chair or moving your computer around or elevating your monitor, etc.? Anything that can make it easier for you to work. I bet you're exhausted by the time you get home.

Nicholas has his good days and his bad days. I suspect he's having more bad days than he's telling me about bz he doesn't look real well right now. He just looks so tired and I see him wince now and then. I think we'll all feel a ton better after his checkup 30 days out from the procedure.

Life is crazy right now with things I'm doing to get Travis ready. We just did immunizations this week and he has to have more in 30 days. I've just been enjoying him. That's the biggest reason why I did reposts, so I could have more time for him. Well I better get to work (I'm late today, oops!) but I just wanted to stop by and answer your questions. Thanks for being a friend and seeing me! Take it easy on yourself today.
