I have been decorating for the last couple of days. Wish I had fresh garlands, love that smell. I think a tote of my decorations have been misplaced, oh well time for a change. Hubby put up outside lights, even on Bobby's Fort lol Have fun!
I had a dream....a dream where my Christmas tree was up and fully decorated, all my decor was up for Travis to enjoy, and my 4 foot tall Santa was put together and dancing with me in the living room. Sadly, I woke up and the dream was just that, a dream. No decorations, no lights, just dirty dishes that won't go away and seem to be reproducing themselves when I'm not looking. Trav said he'd help me later this week to put up the tree at least. I need to do this for him and Kaje'. Your decor is looking great so far and I truly do hope you share more with us. Only 8-1/2 more days.......
You are the perfect example of a true friend :) How wonderful for the Genius but....how heartbreaking for you. We'll get through this together. I truly don't think anyone else fully understands how bittersweet this all is. Thank heavens for Savannah whose giggles take away the blues! I had her all day yesterday and she was so dang fun. I always knew there was a Savannah up in the heavens for me and I'm so glad she's here with me right now. Is the decorating done? Have a festive day!
Oh I can smell the pine wreath from here...and it's wonderful, and beautiful! I would love to have fresh ones...maybe one year! Love your Christmas cottage too...and your top banner...that is so pretty and sweet! Hope you have a great day...have fun decorating! Big Hugs, Queenie
my hip is an old injury from when my youngest was born...she was an almost 10 pound monster at birth, and when she was 6 months old, I crossed my legs and gave her the "horsey ride" that popped my right hip out...and it has never been the same since. In and out often and always sore! I am fine, almost ready to post my big reveal of a huge project that has taken up all of my blogging time! Then...on to the Christmas decorating that I am officially a month behind!
I love to garden, decorate, dance & sing. I am married to Mr. Wonderful and we have a beautiful daughter serving in the U.S. Army. We have a wonderful family, a cozy little home and I wouldn't trade my little life for anything in the world.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. explore. dream. discover. -unknown
