~ A Little bit of Snow~

Hi friends~

We had snow! Honestly, I was like a kid in a candy store....I love snow....of course I've only seen it maybe 5 times in my life....but this is the 2nd year in a row it has snowed here. You can read about our snow adventure from last year.... here. :-)

I really didn't take too many pictures....I was @ work and the snow didn't stay on the ground that long. But, we enjoyed it anyway.

I normally do not wear funny hat's and zip up sweathshirts to work...I took my 'snow' clothes....just in case ....lol. The genius got out of school early, too. :-)

Before & after the snow....it rained & rained....overnight the temperature dropped to 29~ this is almost unheard of in my neck of the woods.....at least this early in the season.

We covered as much of our garden & plants as possible but a few sets of old sheets really aren't enough. I snapped a few pictures Saturday morning~

rubber plant~

My knockout roses :(

bye bye~ morning glories...

The snow was beautiful and fun~ except by mid afternoon on Saturday all evidence of our snow and ice were long gone.... I can live without the ice. Now everything in the garden is black~ But....the snow....was just beautiful.

Maybe....just maybe....it might have been worth it. :)

Morning, Dear One! Oh, I'm just so jealous! We didn't get snow, just rain! But I was watching on TV and it was coming down in Houston in such big flakes! Love your pretty pictures and I think some of your little flowers have bit the dust! :( of bit the snow! :)
Be a sweetie,

Good morning. Looks like lots of fun. We did not get the flurries that we had hoped. But I am betting that we get some of the white stuff this year.

The flowers are pretty in the ice.

I've requested that the big storm due to hit us Wed. be diverted to Texas. I don't want to drive 2 hours in it! I'm so happy you got the snow you wanted too! Only 1-1/2 days to go.

It's beautiful, and so is the picture of you and your daughter! So glad that you got some snow....That's so exciting! I know it's hard to say goodbye to your pretty flowers though, but they looked pretty with the snow on them! So glad you shared your pictures of snow....looks like you got your white Christmas, better early than never! LOL!
Big Hugs,
