This week I'm sharing our master bedroom redo from last September. I didn't have a great picture of our master bedroom, before.....the quality isn't very good.
But, I think you can tell it needed some love. :)
We wanted our room to feel more open and peaceful.Here is our retreat~
I added a little orange flower on the side tables....just for fun.
The paint color is Waterscape by BEHR and the curtains, quilt, shams & bird pillow were purchased at Target.
Edit: thank y'all for the compliments on the headboard. That was a Craigslist find December 2008. A 40 minute drive & $75. I think it was worth it. :)
This room now feels like a breath of fresh air.

Love, love, love it! No wonder you're spending your day off in jammies with the Mister (wink, wink)! I'm off tomorrow to but no jammies for me, I have to be good and finish up all these dishes that are overflowing the sink (I hate working Sundays bz I wake up to a mess Monday). Kaje' is out of school tomorrow so I'm thinking we're going to find something fun to do. I'll let her choose and go along with whatever! See you Tuesday!
Oh, I really like the blue you used and the curtains really make that gorgeous headboard stand out. Our master bedroom has been sadly neglected and needs some attention soon. I may have to steal an idea or two from you. :)

I love it! I remember going to look for that pillow when I first saw this, no luck though. Of course I love the headboard, beautiful wall color, everything just looks just right. Want to come do mine????
The color of the room is great, and the headboard is fabulous, but the white curtain behind it makes it perfect...it all really pops against the white.
