A Convoy & A Prayer

Hi friends~

This morning we decided to go to brunch downtown. While we were driving down the freeway we saw a convoy of Military vehicles. Our local military personnel has been sent to Louisiana due to Hurricane Gustav. We were able to snap a few pictures.

Can you believe while most people are running from this storm our military are driving straight towards the storm?

We are the HOME of the BRAVE.

Lord, please bless the families who fall victim to Hurricane Gustav and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS.

Please say a prayer for our neighbors along the coast.

Hugs, J.

P.S. I'll share more of our trip downtown tomorrow....I just feel it's not as important as this message is tonight. Blessings to all of you. :)

Thanks heavens for our military and first responders. I'll keep them in my prayers. Thanks for reminding us all what they do.

Jessica, I am so glad the storm hasn't been as bad as it could have been so far. Doesn't our military make you proud to be an American. My daughter just told me this morning that our son-in-law will be leaving within a month to go back to Iraq. I am proud of him. Hugs, Terrie
