~ Tootsie's Flaunt Your Flowers Friday ~

Hi Everyone!

Well, I came off my little bloggy break to join the party at TOOTSIE'S! You know us Texans we can NEVER turn down an invitation to a party! Please go by & visit all the Flaunt your Flowers participants~
You will not be sorry. :) Here in Texas, it is HOT, HUMID and DRY. With all the watering we have to do here I fertilize every week...I do not depend on those time release thingies.

I the miracle grow water can singles....perfect for potted plants & hanging baskets. Miracle grow rose food is another favorite.....our plants it, too. Our garden is in it's second year but we have tried to make it look like it's been here forever...this is my favorite place to be ~

{ all the pictures are clickable, too. }

Let's take a look @ what's blooming in our yard this week~

Aganpanthus & { I call them yellow bells }

Goya is the little pink flower with purple butterfly bush in the background. I've recently discovered Goya...I bought 2 last year and they survived being neglected over the winter so I bought two more this year.... YEAH!

A daisy shrub & blue plumbago

roses

I want to thank you all for coming by for a visit~ I'll be elbows deep in dirt this weekend but will come by to visit all of you!
See you @ Tootsie's!
Big Hugs~ J

Hi,
I came over from Tootsies! Happy FF!!!! Love all your pictures!
I read the story about the cat...I have a daughter who did that when she was little. As she grew up she would continue wiggling her little fingers under doors! If we went to the movies etc. and used the stall bathroom she would stick her fingers under the divider and wiggle them... Not to long ago we went to the movies and I did that to her. She was cracking up! She is 22. Things never change I guess! LOL(-:
I will be back again soon!!!!

Hey Jessica!
Thank you for thinking of me and stopping over to tell me Happy Memorial Day! Same to you!
Girl, your flowers are so beautiful....I am totally impressed with your garden and the progress you and hubby have made in a two year yard....completely amazing. I think I'm gonna start doing the weekly fertilizing with a water soluable instead of granuals. Thanks for so much inspiration girl! We are finished with the deck porch (the monster project that I thought would never end LOL!) ...it looks pretty I think, I can hardly wait to show you, I may have to sneak you an email! LOL!. It's been crazy busy around here girl. We are getting ready for our oldest son's graduation and just found him a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse on Thursday, for his graduation gift. He's thrilled!
I love your new found treasures...the teapot light and that teacup planter...precious! Well, I better close now, just know that even though I haven't been around as much lately....that you are always in my toughts my sweet friend!
I hope you have a great weekend!
See you again soon!
Big Hug,
Queenie~
