~ The Birthday Present ~

The Genius wanted me to thank all of you for her sweet birthday wishes~

Since her tenth birthday she has wanted to go skydiving.....much to my dismay. The past few years she has been more vocal about it. Well, she got her wish.....

& Yes.....I was VERY scared but there was no way I could tell her no.....
My Mister jumped, too.

They flew in a plane to 14,000 feet and did a tandem jump ( instructor, behind them ) then they free fall to 6,000 ft.....{ that's 8,000 feet in one minute.....yikes. } then they pull the rip cord

Here she goes....

Isn't this picture amazing.....I've had it enlarged already :)

Can you see the ground below?

She so ROCKS....I'm super proud of her...

whew......she did it!

Here goes Mister~

I love this picture...

He enjoyed this waaaay to much.....

He LOVED it....I think more than she did.

This picture reminds me of the movie Armageddon.....I was so happy to see them on the ground.

Now, I'm in trouble because they have already signed up for the second jump.....I'm too chicken. I won't get in the plane....let alone jump out of it. :)

Thanks again for your birthday wishes....she was tickled pink. Special thanks to my m-i-l & f-i-l for their love & support and the expense. :)

Hugs~ J

P.S. The above pictures were taken by professionals except the 2 when they are back on the ground. :)

P.S.S. There will be more pictures coming before & after the jump and her suprise party.

Happy birthday to Jessica!!! See what happens when I get to busy to check on you....you go and let your baby grow up!! These pictures are awesome and look like so much fun. I'm like you though I don't think I would have jumped. I'm too afraid of heights. Does this mean she's signed up now for the Air Force? What an amazing and brave daughter you have! Your Mister isn't shabby either, LOL! These pictures are incredible (I know I said it before but I love them!). Have a fantastic day. Cindy

Hi Jessica
WOW!!!!
They both look to be really enjoying it and not a bit scared! I would be with you with my feet firmly on the ground.
