~ FROZEN~

I had planned on participating in Tootsie's Fertilizer Friday but last night we had a hard freeze.....so much so that we don't have ANY water this morning.

Mister & I were talking about it and we have never experience anything like this in our life. We were not prepared for this at all. He is going to the grocery store right now since we don't even have A bottle of water....sigh. Coffee was pre- made last night in the pot so we each had a cup but the genius & I need to get ready for work and school. Like, brush our teeth and stuff...lol.

& you know what....we weren't smart. We didn't leave our faucets dripping.

Thanks for letting me vent. I'm kind of freaked out.

Hope everyone has a beautiful day.

If y'all have any tips please let me know.

Big hugs~ J

Update: We were very lucky....Mister called me at 11:30am and said we had water again. Luckily, there wasn't any damage to our pipes. I could just see water flooding our home. :( It's already starting to freeze again...it's 30 degrees now and projected to be between 18-20 degrees overnight.....and another freeze tomorrow night. Our pipes are triple wrapped now....we have plenty of water and the faucets are set to trickle. I was really scared this morning.

This freeze is breaking a record from 1989. Isn't that something?

Thanks as always for your support.

Hugs again~ me.

Oh my gosh Jessica I'm so sorry. Frozen pipes are the worst. I remember when we had our first home (a mobile home) and our pipes froze. Larry was underneath the house with a heat lamp trying to unthaw them. It was miserable and he was soooooo cold. The strange thing is we had heat wrap on them but it was just such a cold freeze that they still froze. Good luck. I wish I was there to help, I have a pretty good supply of water, not great but okay for a day or two's emergency. I worry about my laundry room freezing up every time it gets this cold since the pipes are on the outside wall to the washer. Luckily no problems there....yet. Knock on wood.

Oh gosh honey, I'm so sorry. We're under a deep freeze here with more snow. We've all had about enough of winter up our way. This is truly unusual for you all isn't it? I hope you have water soon darling, wish I could help..

Now that just isn't right in your part of the country! I confess I have endured frozen pipes a time or two but I live in Michigan so it is just part of the package. Usually have a routine and know where, over the years we have learned. I hope everything is thawed out now.
