~ A New Place....Our Search Part 1 ~

It's been 3 years since we actively looked for a new home and we feel the market and interest rates are right where we need it to be. So, we've been looking. We have always wanted a larger space but have not wanted to let our current home go. I'm pretty sure we have it worked out where we can rent our current house. YAY!
Please keep your fingers crossed.
This is the first house we looked at.
I loved this entry.....the landscaping was phenomenal, too.
I liked the double vanity and sink in the master bath.

The kids ( the genius & bear ) named this house..... The Doctor Suess house.
Note the green polka dots in the dining room..... I saw the potential here.
The windows in this house were amazing.
See the lime green walls in the kitchen....{ Dr Suess.} Are you wondering why I took a picture of the pantry? I'm obsessed with pantries....we do not have one in our current home. So that is one item on our "wish" list. :)

Needless to say....we didn't make an offer on this property. It was pretty big over 2200 sqft...and about $30,000 over what we wanted to spend. It needed some updating too, which we don't mind the work. But it needed alot.
A few days later we found a charming home just around the corner from Mister's fire station. It was the 3rd house we saw. We made an offer last Friday and they countered within an hour, we countered back....then they accepted within Pictures coming soon. :)
We have inspection today and if all continues to go well....we will be moving at the end of September.
Have a great weekend!
Hugs, J
