Hi friends~
Finally after a long work week, I was able to sit down this morning with my coffee and work on our front door wreath. I found this real wreath @ Home Depot last Sunday for $5.00. They are now $7.98 ( I should have bought more....sigh. )
After making the bow ( I do not care for the one that came with it ) & wiring the fresh pine cones ( lightly spray painted. )
This is what I came up with.
I'm so happy with it. Note to self: Our front door could use a fresh coat of paint. :)Here is a close up....
Now, let's go inside.I've really just started decorating this morning~
& Sammy think this is their tree....lol.
We did choose to forgot a large tree this year.
We found a sweet little tree at Home Depot and we knew it needed to come home with us. It smells soooo good!

You are good! Love the wreath and going with the small tree sounds like it was the best option. I'm getting too dang old to put up big trees anymore so I don't think it will be too long and we'll do this too!

Hi Jessica! Oh, your wreath looks wonderful hanging on your pretty red door! That's a mighty pretty little tree too. We stopped buying the real trees when our daughter came home one Christmas break from school and informed me she was taking care of the class' rabbit. That rabbit kept getting under the tree and drinking the water. Then we put her outside (the garage) in her cage. We woke up the next morning to little bitty rabbit legs all in her cage. She had given birth to babies during the night and ate them! I just could never buy another real tree after that! :)

This, my friend, is why I love you! You get me. I admit I've been blubbering like an idiot myself. The surgery went really well today so we'll just take it day by day and let him rest. My kids were good to leave him alone all day and let him rest. We've been together almost 24/7 since he came home so I think just having a breather and time for himself has been good. You're next tears will probably because I bore you to tears with all the posts I have in my head to do about this.....that is if I ever find the time to post them, lol!
How's the Genius doing? Is your Mister still working too much? Does his work load increase with the holidays and all the feasting everyone does?
