Then, we spent all day Sunday together, went to brunch….visited my in-laws….and toured a beautiful historic home built in 1900.

The home was beautifully decorated. We were also told most of the light fixtures were original.

Some of the pictures are a little dark…..but the charm is still there.

This home is beautiful...thanks so much for sharing it J! I love old homes and all of the charm ...it's such extra fun getting to see the inside of this one!
Happy Valentine's Day to you.
Me and my mister are going to lunch today and then we'll have pizza for the kids tonight too...so no cooking on the near horizon for me yay :)
Big hugs,
Queenie

I absolutely love historic homes so I'm especially glad you posted this. For our 25th wedding anniversary we stayed in the most adorable bed and breakfast in Salt Lake that is an old mansion. By today's standards it was a large house, lol! I loved everything about it and the woodwork and detailing were amazing. It was decorated in period furniture. I hated to leave and get back to real life!

You so are NOT a bad friend. Life gets ahead of us all. My work picks up when other people are off having vacations and fun so I totally understand. Also I work all weekend, long shifts when everyone else is playing and have two week days off so I understand the busy aspect. You're one of my favorite blogging buddies for sure! One of my very best, in my real life, lol!) is someone that I email about once every three weeks or so and see maybe three times a year (until her son graduates college that's by me). She just got a job in South Carolina so I'll probably see her less (she's in Illinois now) but we always pick up right where we left off like no time has passed. We just both understand how busy the other one is with families and life so it's okay if we're like that sometimes! I never want you visiting me in email on by leaving comments to be a chore or something you feel you have to do. :)

Take care sweet friend. I hope they find a compatible doner for your dad quickly. I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for being you!

P.S. Now it's me who maybe should have emailed that instead of putting it in a comment, lol! Have a great day! We have tons of sunshine so I'm going to try and get some things done that I haven't been able to do in the winter cold.
