~Tootsie's.... Flaunt Your Flowers ~

Welcome to Fertilizer Friday.....Tootsie style :)

I'm so happy it's Friday~ WOOHOO!

This week I thought I would share our front yard .....Gracie seems to find it fascinating so let's see what has kept her occupied for the last 30 minutes.

{ all pictures are clickable }

The view from the front porch

Shelia calls this thing ' the finger plant' I don't know the name either. Mammaw & Poppaw gave us this plant about 7 years ago and I have to keep it well trimmed. :) See that TEXAS sized ivy on the left....that was started from clippings ( rooted in water ) several years ago~

this is what's behind the finger plant

please pardon the semi wilted ivy.....we still haven't had any rain and no chance in sight.
Sprinklers are going every morning & night right now. Then I spend about an hour every night watering the potted plants and sweet talking them....lol. Do you talk to your plants? I do. :)

The ice cream parlor set I've had for over 15 years....{ & there is at least that many coats of paint on it. }
This end piece to a park bench is a favorite find of mine about 5 years ago....still love it.

Now, let's see what's blooming.

white climbing roses and pink knockout roses....

the knockouts weren't blooming much.....they come in spurts....bloom like crazy....then wait a few weeks for new growth.....then bloom again. I tell you.....this is a real winner for low maintenance. { I tend to neglect the front a little....I spend my time in the back yard so low or no maintenance is key here } :)

I adore this little bird bath

Well, that's the tour of the front gardens....Ya'll make sure & visit Tootsie Q @ http://tootsietime.blogspot.com~ she ROCKS!

Thank you so much for coming by & have a GREAT weekend!

Hugs~ J

Mornin' Jessica,

Your front gardens are beautiful! Love the "finger" plant..I've never seen one before, somewhat tropical looking, to me, anyway.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Dear Jessica! How gorgeous your front yard is! You have a finger plant! Woo Hooness! They are nice though, aren't they? Yours looks so healthy! I'm glad to hear you say that about the knockout roses. I got some and when I planted them they bloomed beautifully and then about two weeks they didn't and now they're blooming again! I was so sad because I heard they were easy! You have made your yard just gorgeous! Lovely lovely home!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)

LOL my cats do that too - lately it's been so hot I haven't had the door open for them to look out, keeping it on the darker side inside these days. I have no idea what fascinates them so much!

Love the porch and the parlor set and that bench end is too cool and your beds look fantastic!!

I'm seeing new glimpes of your yard and it's stunning! You can have our rain! It's rained nearly every day for the past month and we're not used to rain this much!! I've quite enjoyed it but it sure has flared my arthritis. Gosh, did I just say that?!! LOL!! I sound like a little old lady! Have a great weekend.

I really enjoyed your garden tour. It looks so beautiful and very tidy. We are in the middle of a garden makeover at the moment! We are trying to clear some small trees and bushes and some of the lawn. We have so much rain we need to cut the lawn twice a week! We want less lawn and a small area of decking instead.
Hope you are having a lovely Saturday.
