New Project~ Pathway...

Well, I've been saying for awhile I was going to show you a new project....
Here is a little peek :)

We added a pathway around our deck....
Bought a new bird bath~

I moved the bench from the fence lined garden...
& added a special crown made by Tootsie~

We added large stepping stones and rubber mulch~
I wasn't sure how we would feel about the rubber mulch but it's soft and it doesn't stain your hands red when you touch it...lol. It's supposed to have a 5 year color warranty.....we will see { winks. }

You can also see the newly stained { yummy red } deck~

We added solar lights and I'm slowly added plants along the exterior of the pathway~

Eventually we would like to take the pathway around the maple tree~ wouldn't that be lovely? We really had a good time doing this together & we are so happy with the results. What do you think? :)

Have a beautiful day~ J

Great job. I love it. Can't wait to see the gardens all filled in.

I think your birdbath is much prettier. It looks good with the flowers in front of it. Your mulch is making me think I need to add some to my backyard. It looks so good.

Gorgeous! Must not let my husband see the grill. We've looked at this rubber mulch too but haven't bought any. You'll have to let us know how it holds up! I do love your yard. Just perfect. Maybe you better not be my neighbor after all, you'd make us look pretty bad with our dead little yard. Sigh, someday we'll bring it back to life.

Would you believe that house is still up for sale behind us? Part of the fence has fallen down between us and them. It's not our fence so we can't fix it. Hope whoever moves in doesn't have pets or if they do, that they fix it before they move in!

It looks great. I have been curious about that rubber mulch, keep me posted. Every year I spend a fortune on mulch.
Have a great week.
